These Eco Dinner Candles in Opaline Pompadour and Rust abstract stripes are new to the range of beautiful Fair Trade collection from Designed in Colour in colours from the British Standard range.  The owners of Designed in Colour found an old British Standard colour palette chart dating back to the 1930s in an Oxfam shop and decided to buy the copyright to the range so that they could design a range of candles and other homeware using the unique colours.  All of the colours in the range have a significance to the old British empire (the gunmetal grey candles for example are the exact colour of the old submarines!).   The solid and striped candles are available to a wide variety of complementary colours with something to suit every colour taste. The candles are hand-poured by artisans using ethical ingredients including pure cotton wicks that are lead and metal free and ecological colour dyes.  The stearin wax is paraffin free and ethically sourced.  The candles have a tall clean burn time of 8 hours.  Perfect for special occasions or as a gift, they come in a smart Kraft gift box.
