The beautiful pattern on the inside and outside of the bowl is characteristic of Sthål’s Arabesque collection.  The Seaweed green is an effect glaze that perfectly shows off the swirling patterns of the Arabesque design.   It has small fine decorative crackles that add life and variety to the ceramic. The flowing glaze provides a lively surface with shifting tones and intensity, making each piece unique. If you look closely, you will discover that the exciting glaze contains a palette of tones and shades. Sthal is the brand created by Susanna Theander and Helena Åkesson-Liedberg. Two Swedish creative souls with backgrounds in illustration, styling and design but whose shared love of ceramics led to them creating this beautiful range of dinner and tableware.
