This eco pillar candle (10 cm) in Gull Grey, Gunmetal Grey and Jet Black stripes from British Colour Standard is part of the new range of pillar candles from the London based homeware brand, Designed in Colour.  The candle is poured in great contemporary shades of Gull Grey, Gunmetal Grey and Jet Black stripes that are all colours that form part of the British Colour Standard colour palette discovered in an Oxfam charity shop by the owners of Designed in Colour who decided to copyright the colours and produce a range of stylish and colourful pieces for the home.  All of the colours have a relevance to Britain (gunmetal grey for example is the colour of old submarines!) and all of the range are made from sustainable materials and are either recycled, hand-made and/or Fair Trade.  We are loving the solid shape of these new candles and the soft colour hues that will look perfect in any room setting.  Individually boxed in a recyclable Kraft box with the British Colour Standard logo, these candles would also make a great gift.  Long burn times (with a tall clean burn), non-drip with vegan origin 100% stearin wax, these are a perfect go-to candles for your home.
