These multi stripe candles in Grass, Beryl, Olive & Jasmine from British Colour Standard are the perfect way to add some colour to your home. Their elegant striped design complements the solid colours in the range and they come packed in a new multi-hole pack perfect for gifting (4 candles in a pack).  Hand-poured in Indonesia using environmentally friendly Stearin wax. The wick is also made from pure cotton that are lead and metal free and the colours are all derived using eco dyes. These slim, striped style candles come in a pack of 4 and have a burn time of 8-9 hours and emit a tall, clean flame. The British Colour Standard brand was founded when the owners discovered an old British Standard colour palette chart dating back to the 1930s in an Oxfam shop and decided to buy the copyright to the range so that they could design a range of candles and other homeware using the unique colours.  All of the colours in the range have a significance to the old British empire (the gunmetal grey candles for example are the exact colour of the old submarines!).
