The Round Pie Dish in Seaweed from Sthal is new to the Arabesque range and we think it is the perfect serving piece for your favourite pie (and who doesn’t love a pie!). The pie dish is oven-safe and can, of course, hold more than just pie.  It will also be useful for gratins and other goodies that need an oven dish.  The Sthal range is designed in Sweden and made in Portugal to the highest of quality.  The design team behind Sthal are two friends  Susanna Theander and Helena Åkesson- (Sthal is a play on their names). Two Swedish creative souls with backgrounds in illustration, styling and design. Ceramics from Sthål are not just beautiful, they are designed with usefulness and practicality in mind and are a great investment piece.  The pie dish, like all Sthal pieces, is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. The beautiful pattern that distinguishes Sthål’s Arabesque series is beautifully drawn in the glaze.  The flowing glaze creates a lively surface with changing colour tones, making each piece unique.
