These wild cat printed suede slippers with merino wool are from Ekamu Brands, a proudly South African brand that was established in 2012 making African-inspired slippers, sandals and accessories to the highest standard of quality (the merino sheepskin is the softest you will find).

Hand-made in the heart of the South African township of Hammarsdale, KwaZulu Natal, the slippers and sandals are curated one stitch at a time. Each model elegantly fuses modern African fashion with traditional leather styles and the designs are both creative and different.  Scandi style with African vibrancy.

The Ekamu brand has its roots in social entrepreneurship. We believe that no child should go to school barefoot. They support the Inkanyiso School Shoes project with a portion of every purchase contributed to provide school shoes for children who walk many miles to school in scorching heat and stinging Winter cold who would otherwise be barefoot.
