Description

This pasta bowl in Patterned Duck Egg from Wonki Ware is a beautiful contemporary and iconic serving bowl and is part of the eclectic range of handmade tableware all made in the town of George on the Garden Route in South Africa.  The range is incredibly versatile, which makes them incredibly useful – and they look simply beautiful, whatever you choose to put in them.  Each piece has its own unique shape and every pattern is totally different with no two pieces ever being the same.  They are all made from the clay local to the Wonki Ware pottery using an artisanal process and the range is great for collecting over a period of time as each and every piece complements each other due to the base colour of the local that is used.  Every single item, from a tiny salt dish to a generous trough platter, goes through the same creative process, which sees the clay moulded, shaped, smoothed and painted during 15 different stages.

Additional info: It should be noted that all these products are hand made and therefore could appear slightly different from one another. This contributes to the unique and organic feel and appearance of this product.
